Mar. 27th, 2020 02:54 pmI made the fritters again just now, and they really hit the spot. I think I got into one of those things where you don't realize how hungry you are because the days have no structure. Saving the rest of the batter (is that what you call it? fritter batter? that's terrible) for later when I have more veggies ready to go with it. The brussels sprouts in the freezer are calling to me, but that'll be a bit of a time investment to do it right.
Neighborhood behavior update: At least 50% of the people who walk past my fence while I'm sitting out on the porch now wave and say hello. I think we've hit the tipping point for people realizing that it's good for our collective mental health to do so.
